It's not often that my little ruggamuffin gets put in a dress. But today, she was all sweet and pretty to welcome her little friends.
She even spent the morning practicing her most alluring smiles...
...while I spent the morning shopping, arranging flowers and getting the table ready.
My brilliant nanny made popiah, which is one of my most favouritest foods. Forget haute cuisine or exotic foods - just give me a plain old-fashioned hearty spring roll.
By 4pm, all of us were well-stuffed and talked out.
