A late sleep-in

9:22am!

THIS is the longest Zoe has ever slept through the night.

Especially considering she went to bed at 8pm last night.

Momentous occasion.

Hole in One

KONGKIE did the unimaginable on the 14th hole of the Masters Course, so we had a feast!

Duck, mango and jellyfish salad, Monk jumps over the wall, giant prawns, crabmeat fried rice, asparagus with fish maw...

Unfortunately, it took a while to arrive so poor Z had to eat plain white rice!

The old house

HUNG out on the porch while waiting for the painters to give me a quote.

Z kinda knows her Papa and Mommy lived here before she came along.

She calls it the "old house".

ZOE kept trying to blow out her candles, as you can see from Ping's attempt to stop her.


There were tattoos at the party and here's Z trying to look like a tough cookie.

Lunchtime Dip

THE sun came out - finally!

So D decided to meet us for lunch to take Z for a quick dip... or plunge more like it.

Last class with Acts of Life

I PULLED Z out of her speech and drama classes for a number of reasons.

Mainly, it's because she now wants me to be there with her.

Until recently, she would happily wave me away when I dropped her off.

Here she is making sure I don't run away!

The running girl

DESPITE the drizzle, we headed to the East Coast for a walk.

It was the first time Z had on her Timberland running shoes, which we bought a couple of sizes too big for her to grow into when we were in the States in September.

She was so proud of them.

She felt all grown up. It was just so adorable watching her race about in them.



Kong Kong came along too and I love these photos of them.

FOUR brilliant days of play in the sun, sand and swimming pool.

As you can see, Zoe had a blast!

Marcus turns 9

GOR Gor had a party at GoGoBambini's but Z was too young to race about in the big kid part.

So she and her Mommy had a ball instead.


Z also had a ball with Anna.

AUNTY Jasmine and Uncle Kok Wei bought this Chinese New Year outfit for Zoe.

She just managed to squeeze in but unfortunately after she ate a couple of mandarins, her buttons popped!
